We are seeking a skilled and motivated Research Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and training in all stages of the research process. Your work will be supervised by Dr. Matthew Denes (Assistant Professor of Finance, Carnegie Mellon University).

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Obtain and manipulate data from various sources

  • Construct and analyze data using statistical software packages

  • Assist with the production of working papers and publications

You will demonstrate:

  • Ability to work with statistics software, such as Stata or SAS

  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python

  • Proven ability to work independently to solve problems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 0-1 year of research experience required

Requirements:

  • Successful Background Check

This position is open on a rolling basis.
