Andrew Bearden, age 40 of Concord, passed away peacefully, July 28th, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic after a 2+ year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) with his family by his side. He was born October 22nd, 1983 in Trenton Michigan to Elizabeth “Liz” and Lyle Heiss of Carleton, MI.
While his favorite title was Daddy, he spent much of his free time coaching wrestling and baseball, and worked professionally as a top-producing financial advisor. He had tremendous respect and appreciation for all of his long-time clients.
Andrew enjoyed mentoring new advisors, and tried his best to be there for his wrestlers long after their graduation. His goal was always to give back with his time, and treasure.
Andrew also had a strong relationship with his Toledo ‘bros’, which includes his fraternity brothers (Phi Kappa Psi) as well as the local torries. Since moving to Cleveland in 2012 he was fortunate to befriend many others within his “banker circle”.
Andrew is the loving husband and soul mate of Lynn Bearden (nee Gifford); Beloved father of Audrina (9) and Aubrey (6);beloved dog “Boxer Boy Storm”; dearest brother of Eddie Stachulski, Rebecca (Justin Boyer) Stachulski, Shane (John) Dunbar, Dakota Heiss and Montana (Paige) Heiss; parents in law of Paul and Suzie Gifford; brother in law of Craig (Jessica) Gifford; he will greatly miss his niece and nephew, Ivy and Henry as well. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and #1 boxer boy “Miggy”.
The Bearden family would like to invite family and friends from 3:00PM – 7:00PM Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, August 2nd, 2024 at the funeral home.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made in Andrew’s name to the Lake Humane Society or The 24 in 24.
As a family, we give special thanks and appreciation to Drs. Hetty Carraway, Ron Sobecks and the entire staff of nurses and PCNA’s from G111, G110, and the Taussig Cancer Center at the Cleveland Clinic.

This truly breaks my heart. Andrew was such a terrific man. We met through his eldest daughter, Audrina and my granddaughter, Hazel Gliha who were kindergarten classmates in 2020. The girls happen to be on the same summer Concord Twp. little league tee baseball team. Andrew was one of their coaches, but he was a very special coach. He loved what he was doing and who he was doing it for…the girls. Lynn & I became friends through the girls being friends & classmates at NDES. Lynn & I ended up working together at NDES. Shared times at baseball games, track meets, & school events. I have prayed every single night at bedtime for Andrew and he & the family knew that I did. This past summer, we were able to “fist bump” each other through the baseball fence as he was doing his best coaching even though we knew he wasn’t feeling 100% percent. We we able to talk for a while after Aubrey’s kindergarten graduation in May. I don’t understand why this happened to Andrew only God knows and I wish I knew why. There is a very special man, a new Angel, in heaven tonight. I will pray once more for Andrew and continue my prayers for his beautiful wife and daughters…my friends. Tears are falling down my face. Lynn, my heart breaks for the girls and you. Please know all of you will continue to occupy my thoughts and prayers. Drew embodied the best part of humanity each day in the way he lived his life. He aspired to do everything the right way. I have always respected Drew’s values and judgment. His fight against Leukemia defined courageous. My heart is with you and your girls. We are all sending our love and support for each of your beautiful hearts at this time.
Drew not being in the world is a loss on so many levels. He was the best at everything he did and had a heart that was truly full of love, joy and life.
His legacy lives on… in all the lives he touched personally and professionally.
Most importantly he lives on thru Audrina and Aubrey.

Man, this is heart breaking. I knew Drew for a long time back even before high school. Good guy, good morals. Post high school we worked together bartending as college started, he actually trained me. We lived near each other in college as well, he was always there and a good friend. We were both passionate about sports and always knocked each other after a tough loss. He loved his family, and I knew it. We drifted apart through the later years but always kept in touch and I always valued his friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his wife and his 2 beautiful girls.

Coach Bearden was a wonderful man. He was there for my sons when they needed him. Praying for the family, as they move forward in their journey we call life. 🙏❤️🙏

How heartbreaking. The world was a better place with Andrew in it. From the very first day we met him at the bank we felt comfortable and confident. Like a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We know Drew from his being our financial counselor. He was friendly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. More importantly at our many meetings, he would proudly talk abut his family. We could tell he was more passionate about his family and always asked about our family. He will be missed. 🙏🏻

Lynn, My heart goes out to you and the girls. I was sincerely praying for Drew, though I had never met him , I knew he was a gem of a person because you chose him to be your best friend and husband. Our family continues to pray for strength and comfort for you and the girls, not forgetting his parents and siblings. Remember you are not alone in this journey, HE is walking with you, hold on to His hand and trust Him, sending love and hugs to you, my friend, God loves you!

I first met Andy when he was a sweet, smart, adorable little boy. His aunt Barb and I go way back. When we went out to events like the Detroit Grand Prix, we would take Andy with us. Andy was like the nephew I never had. The passing of Andy breaks my heart. Watching the video with photos of Andy’s life makes me happy to know he had a wonderful and fulfilling life. He will be missed.

Drew was our financial counselor, my husband passed recently and he was so helpful to me in my time of need. His words to me were so comforting, making things as clear as he could. Meetings with him after he was diagnosed, often turned personal, he loved his daughters! Rest in peace, Drew.

I am very grateful to have called Drew my good friend. We had long phone conversations most days starting when I began working at PNC Investments in 2018 and up to the point when he began his brave fight two years ago and in our conversations right up to the end he was tough. He taught me a lot about being a good father, husband, friend, financial advisor and friend. He would help anyone. No one ever made me laugh the way he did and I will miss him dearly. I will never forget our many lunches and dinners together and all the good times. Praying for his beloved family of whom he always spoke so proudly. God bless you all.

Drew will be missed, he was our financial advisor and he did it very well. Getting to know Drew over the years it became very apparent how much he loved his family. Drew always showed a genuine interest in how things were with me and my family. His daughters did not have him long but I am positive they got everything he had to share during that time. A good man gone way too soon.
